A Steady Weight Loss Exercise Regimen
Will Make It Happen
As you are probably well aware, exercise can have a dramatic impact on being able to lose weight naturally. Despite everyone understanding this, it's the fear of having to do something strenuous, and on a regular basis, that scares many away.
It Doesn't Have to be Strenuous
However, you can do a lot of good for yourself (and your body) by putting together a simple exercise regimen that is neither strenuous nor demanding.
The first thing you need to know is that your exercise routine doesn't have to consist of working out for 2 hours per day, six days a week. All this will do is discourage you from continuing after the first week.
Instead, focus on working out a maximum of three days a week for 30 minutes each day. Although that may not seem like a lot, it's probably three days (and 90 minutes) more than you're doing right now.
Timing is Important
The next thing you need to understand is that your workouts will have different effects depending on the time of the day you do them. Certain times of the day are definitely better than others.
Try to exercise in the morning if at all possible but working out at night, as opposed to not at all, is better than nothing.
The reason for the morning being better than the evening is because getting your body going early raises your metabolic rate throughout the day providing you with more energy and therefore more fat burning potential.
The Bottom-Line: Find a time of the day that works best for you along with a few exercises that you enjoy.
Don't Stress About It
The last thing you need to learn with natural weight loss is not to put so much pressure on yourself. It's smart to keep track of how much weight you are losing and track your progress, but don't get stressed out about it. Stress adds to weight issues and will only complicate things.
Go at the right pace for you while still challenging yourself. Take your time - there's really no rush. We all remember the story about the hare and the tortoise - slow and steady wins the race.
Take It Slow - There's No Rush
Natural weight loss can be fun and is doable if you are realistic about your exercise regimen. It's a good idea to start off slow and gradually build up. There's no sense in forcing yourself to run five miles a day six days a week when first getting started. Put together a plan that's challenging but not overboard. As you progress you can gradually increase the amount of exercise you do with your workout plan. Before you know it, you'll be looking - and feeling - very different.
